Re: Splashes Locomotive.
I have just done something stupid, I applied for a full time job as an Employability Tutor and had the interview this afternoon, one hour latter they called me back and offered me the job starting next week, so I had better get a move on with this build.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Congratulations! (I think!) I hope it goes well for you
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Cheers iggie.
The problem was they offered me more than I thought they would and made it to hard to say no.
So much for my early retirement.

Ah, I see your dilemma; more money for kits, less time to build them.......terrible!
Best wishes

Re: Splashes Locomotive.
As I suspected the new job is going to remove all my bench time for the next couple of weeks or more , I will still try to finish this build as I need my bench time to stop me removing my marbles
Their wont be any bench time this weekend, as I have to plan and pre pair myself for delivering a week long training package starting on Monday.

They are not easing you into it are they Splash?
Hope you can finish your build off in time as it looks like being a real gem. If you need an extension let me know.

Once I get the first couple of days over I should get a batter idea off what's expected and se if I have any building time.

Re: Splashes Locomotive.
Building presentations from scratch can be time consuming in the extreme.....but, once you've delivered them a couple of times and tweaked them a little bit each time, they just need keeping up to date from time to time so it does get better!
Best wishes

Re: Splashes Locomotive.
The new job is going well, it's just a case of teaching the same subject that I have been teaching for the last four years, just using different course material and paperwork.
Tonight I have stuck down the roof and checked all the LED's are working, so progress should be quicker now.

Gray work Alan; the lighting makes the internal detail worth the effort!
How's the teaching going?
