Interestingly, this is a new tool from 2013, but there is quite a bit of flash in places.....

I've only had a brief look in the box so far but it's not filling me with confidence! I should be able to make a start this evening so will be able to tell better how it's going to go then I guess

So far I've made a start on the cockpit as usual
Principal parts painted

And with some dirt over a gloss coat

And the tub partially assembled

Thanks chaps!

A little more work last night:
the cockpit makes up into a neat little self contained unit, but add the IP before putting the fourth side in if you build this in the future!
Cockpit boxed up and IP in place

and we have a fuselage! I thought at first that there would be a nice engine to show off, as there seemed to be separate cowls and covers....however this is not the case, the cowls are separate simply to allow the use of different parts according to build choice (early or late type)

Thanks GMG

A little more work last night saw some significant progress; supercharger(?) bulges added to the fuselage, the stub upper wing surfaces and the whole lower wings added, including radiator grills and undercarriage bay walls. All very nicely detailed, and extremely well fitting  The only detail missing are the canvas liners within the wheel wells. Oh, and if building this kit, another 'watch out for': don't forget to install the centre line radiator roof piece before gluing the fuselage halves together

Loving your work iggie, so much so I will keep an eye out for one of these at Cosford show tomorrow and make a late entrance to the group build if I find one going cheap!
Nice job mate - love the cockpit detailing and weathering. ;-)

That's a lot of great progress and looking very good.
I have the same kit in the stash it's great and bring Revell prettty inexpensive. Their G-10 Erla is also very nice.

Jadlam had the G-6 kit going cheap if it helps anyone...

Bulges to cover the breeches for the machine-guns. The later-model G-10 had even larger ones!
