I will be doing Hasegawa's special Swiss boxing of the 1/48 Emil-3 kit:
The box photo shows the preserved Emil now on display at the Fliegerflab Museum at Dubendorf - I saw the aircraft on a visit back in 2013:
And so I'll be doing the model in those markings.

Sprue shots:
Typical Hasegawa - nice recessed panel lines, good shape, OK interior detail. There's a small PE fret. The decals are also typical Hasegawa - thick and the whites need a spin cycle with Persil..... thankfully, I won't be doing the version with lots of white!
I'll be doing this OOB

...And I made a good start today. The interior assembled quickly and easily, then painted with my own RLM02 concoction. Good fit and minimal sanding so far.
I did shave and sand off the bumps over the cowling MG breeches - these weren't present on the Swiss a/c.

This is 1/72, I assume?
It's funny that it comes with a plastic seat. I have a couple of Hasegawa Emils in the stash and they all have white metal seats. (No PE though!)

Sorry, I thought the box stated that it's 1/48, but it doesn't! It's 1/48.

Wow. It seems rather, um, parts-lite for 1/48, I would have thought. I don't normally do 1/48 aircraft, though, so am hardly the best judge ....

It is quite an old mould - 1988, with this boxing appearing in '95 - and Hasegawa have always been known for having simple interiors. For me, at the moment, this is all a good things - I am liking simple....

Nice choice of kit and subject.
Look forward to seeing it progress. Are you doing the neutrality striped version??

No, I shall be doing the box photo version.
Airframe is complete - hoping to put down a coat of RLM 65 on the undersides later.

Cheers, Ig - it's a simple kit.
