Thanks for all the kind comments guys, The paint scheme on that Zero is so striking that I only had to do a reasonable job of the dragon to make a darn good looking plane. On reflection I should have used a 1/48 Zero as I had to make the book cover 5% smaller than real size and reduce the P-40 by 10% to retain perspective.

I could also have really gone to town with the dragon painting in a bigger scale.
