...it's a gas, gas, gas! **FINISHED**
Another 3D cover effort. The image I'm hoping to recreate is one used in the Charley's war comic strip and then revisited as the front cover of a later book compilation. The Airfix Bengal Lancer is almost made to measure for this with just a smidgin of alteration here and there and some spares and scratching of equipment and gas masks.

Good progress today. Pre shading and darker coat on 'Horace' and a start on the riders equipment.
The arms needed to be cut at elbows and wrists to realign them in the same position as the picture.

Main colour coat on 'Horace' and 'CC' gets handy.
Milliput to hold and fill the reshaped elbows. Some more to start the gas masks.

I've just realised that there's one little detail that I've forgotten, but I won't get a chance to do anything about it until at least Tuesday.
(Actually dust from my old Hoover would have been better, this new Dyson balls up the dust more tightly than the old one which made more wispy fluff!)
