N'owt wrong with a bit of fluff now and again!

Looking good with both wings set now :-D
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Fed Boris The Spider, and set him to work  None of these are fixed yet. I'll glue them all at the top wing, clean that up and paint it, then apply tension and fix at the lower wing, clean those ends and paint the undersurfaces. I was going to use epoxy to anchor the wires, but it's too thick and doesn't flow as well as CA glue. I'll use a thin type superglue and hopefully that will hold :)

Two days with no internet connection  What did we do without it?
I'm nearly done

Biggest mistake was forgetting to use an oil paint on the wood area around the cockpit  Just overpainted the buff undercoat with clear yellow and red. Doesn't look too bad, a tad darker would have been nice.

Ive since attached the wheels. Just guns and cowling to go, then a spray of matt varnish

Guns and cowling added. All done. Just needs a squirt of flat varnish, and I shall do that tomorrow or Saturday

Looks ok from a distance, but up close there are many small mistakes. It's a finish, and puts a small dent in my stash :)
The pilot has managed to put her down in the Waterloo Farmhouse courtyard. Nice flying Stuart

I'm calling it done. It doesn't look too matt, but I did spray it :)

That's a really tidy build Nigel and it's nice to see the variation of having the top wing mounted gun. Excellent work!

Done and dusted :D

Good to have another ship's camel in the build.

The fabric on WW1 aircraft was generally satin/semi-gloss due to the dope, so what you have there looks pretty right to me.
