I have been saving my new Airfix Victor for this very build. My "V Bomber" collection will now be complete! I just finished the old Vulcan last month and the Valiant when it was first released. To go with my previous anti-flash trio, this kit will carry the markings for a Anti-Flash white Victor flown by No.139 Squadron out of RAF Witterng from 1963-64. The kit will be built out of the box with the addition of an Eduard 'Zoom' cockpit set and canopy masks.

Excellent choice Chuck and a build that will be of interest to many on here who have this in their stash

Finished the pre-painting of cockpit and other internal parts. I will add pictures later today. On to the Build!

On a side note, I had to change my contact email to a new ISP as the one saved with this site was hacked and began sending out hundreds of phishing emails.

I did a little work with the cockpit. Once again, the Eduard team do themselves credit with their zoom sets. Now, on to the main build.

A little work ?? Got to admit considering the kit, the a/m, and your highlighting, that interior really pops !! A shame to hide it.

Thanks, for me the photoetch was prepainted and was only a little work by my standards. I am a firm believer in better modelling by pocketbook. :) There is more glass than the Vulcan and I plan on leaving the entrance door open so you can see some of the cockpit.

The basic build was finished within the last hour. I will wait until the morning to let the glue to completely dry before attaching the clear parts. The plan is to add a couple coats of Testors Flat White and then Sovereign Colorcoat's Anti-Flash White. One thing I learned during this build. Do not glue the pilot and co-pilot ejection seats until AFTER you glue the instrument panel. It was a pain to follow the directions and I used a few expletives at that stage :P

Buildup as of 21 June 17

No, just a public school teacher on Summer vacation. Two months of sitting back and doing some builds. So far, I have built two Car door Typhoons from Brengun, a Pzkpfw IIL Luchs from Flyhawk, a Merkava Mk.IV by Hobby Boss, and a Revell repop of the USS Hornet (angle deck Essex class carrier), all since the start of June. :)

I added the first flat white overcoat and will add a second in morning. While the paint dries, I plan on starting a Mig YE-152 "Flipper" this afternoon.
