Splash's 1/48 PM build DNS/F
I have a bench full of started kit including the new Airfix BE2c that's at the critical stage of adding the top wing to the lower, once I'm past that critical stage I will start the Cessna build.

Re: Splash's 1/48 PM build
Ok after a lot of fruitless hunting for my PM 1/48 Cessna I did a quick search on the Internet for a card kit and found this and downloaded it.
And whilst waiting for the printer to churn out the pages of parts, I took one more look for the other kit and suprise, suprise, guess what I found slipped down the back of the wardrobe stash.

Re: Splash's 1/48 PM build
I have a cunning plan as the card kit is a too bigger scale I have reduced the print size by 50% and managed to get four sheets per page of A4, so I have lots of spare parts printed and should come out at about 1:60 scale

Agreed. Very interesting. Though not a fan of building card models myself having attempted a few I can certainly appreciate the skills involved.

Re: Splash's 1/48 PM build
Work has started on the paper T-37 Dragonfly, scaling the model down has worked but it does make it extremely fiddly, the kit is very basic and doesn't have any bulkheads to shape the skin so you need to shape it yourself, only time will tell if this is going to work.

Wow card models! I've never built one but they appear very challenging to me. Will enjoy watching your progress!
Don't you love it when you find a kit you forgot you had? Few things make me feel young again like that.
Will keep an eye on this thread,

Re: Splash's 1/48 PM build DNS/F
Sorry Greg work and personal life has given me no bench time plus the paper kit is not playing so I'm rapping my hand in, but as the little 1:48 PM kit deserves to be built by someone who will appreciate it, I have just posted it off to you, as I know it's a subject you will enjoy.

Many thanks Alan. I really do appreciate that. Please pm me your address as I have something in the stash that will be more suited to your talents than mine.
