One hour in and the cockpit interior has been painted, along with the smaller Sea Blue parts (more drying time ).
Also, the postman has delivered some additions to the stash.

Re: Tim's Hasty Hellcat - **underway**
Thanks Jeff. Al, I'll try not to get too distracted by the parcel.
Three hours in and the engine has been painted and assembled. Work has started on the interior too.

After a break for lunch the decals were applied to the cockpit interior and the interior fitted into the fuselage.
Now the interior is in progress should speed up a bit.

Good work. Hate to burden a Blitzer with a question but do you know the lineage of this kit? Curious because it looks rather nice.

Re: Tim's Hasty Hellcat - **underway**
No problem Jeff, I've just had a look at my Italeri Hellcat and this is a reboxing of that kit. It is a nice kit and goes together really well.
The fuselage has been closed up and the wings fitted. Apart from a very small amount in front of the cockpit I haven't had to use any filler, which is just what you need in a Blitz.
Having sanded the seams down it's time for paint.

Re: Tim's Hasty Hellcat - **underway**
It certainly looks to be a well behaved kit, and some rapid progress being made too!
Best wishes
