That really looks great Jeff. Looking forward to seeing the finished model.

All the best.

You make it look easy, Jeff!

And what a bang up job you're doing too!

It was quite the treat to finish my work day and get caught up with your blitz chopper.

Thank you all for the comments.

Should have had this one done a while ago but a few more interruptions. Anyone who has done a blitz knows what I am talking about.

So. The eleventh hour. As I figured the ball and mast were finicky to say the least.

My check list says 1: Gloss, 2: Decal: 3: Dull coat. 4: Remove masking and 5: Detail parts.

Very close now.

Coming up on twelve hours and the home stretch is in sight.

Created a "Minion" look for the target designator. A little clean up required there. And using red sprue left over from a car model, anti collision lights were replaced.

Decals are drying out with dull coat next. Oh yes the side door windows will be after the dull coat.

You're doing a great job with this Jeff. Helos are fiddly enough at the best of times

It looks like you're definitely in the home-stretch now, Jeff!

I like your work on the target designator and the light on top.

Thirteen and a half hours and I am calling it done. I must say that this kit came out when Matchbox was in great form. While not like today's Manufacturer's, it holds up well and was a very enjoyable build.

Thanks for those who checked in. As a retiree I can pick a day and time when most are working.

Wow did that finish up sharp and doubly-impressive being done so in a blitz!

I don't know if you build many helicopters, but you sure seem to have a talent for them!

I had no idea you were retired, Jeff. Now I've got two reasons to envy you.

Well done!
