Lancfan's Transatlantic Bomber
This will be my victim for this GB, the Trailblazers boxing of the original Frog Vickers Vimy.
Work will begin later this afternoon, before then I need to dig out the plans and work out the rigging layout. The first job will be to drill a lot of holes!
David.

Drilling lots of little holes indeed. Lots of tiny little holes. Hope you have a good supply of spare bits!
I'm looking forward to seeing this come together!

Nice! I have one in the deep stash, a score from an IPMS show a few years ago. Looking forward to you performing your usual magic on this outing.

Re: Lancfan's Transatlantic Bomber
Looking forward to seeing this one. Just a thought but posing this next to a model of the transatlantic F4 would be sweet.

Just found a current decal sheet with that very aeroplane so this is possible when Airfix release the FGR.2 Phantom.

Re: Lancfan's Transatlantic Bomber
Until I collect my new stock of drills I have slightly detailed and then fitted the cockpit and glued the fuselage halves together.

Re: Lancfan's Transatlantic Bomber
Coming along very nicely. I've heard it's a beast of a kit too. Good luck for the next bits.

Re: Lancfan's Transatlantic Bomber
That's really looking good. Sorry about bad luck with the drill bits. I think karma came my way for that.
