Dollar's PBY Catalina

Pre-1980 boxings of any kit, but preferably hard to obtain -- something that would make a collector cringe to see built.

Thanks Shaun, in 6 weeks it'll be good as new.

Just a little update...... I finished the blisters and got the decals on. Of course they were out of register. Kinda gives the authentic ancient Airfix look to the kit. they go so well with the rivet detail. I may go back with a fine brush and some black paint an touch them up. Final assembly and a couple of clear coats and she'll be ready for her glamour shots.

Thank Tim!
I'm on to getting the major parts married up. Everything got a shot of dull coat and the wing and fuselage are glued together. and the struts are in place. without going into a lot of detail....... this has been the most fricken pain in my ass of a build I've ever attempted.
All the transparencies are in place. except the nose turret. it broke in half and is glued back together. I still have a frame or two to paint on it.
