Even so. She is looking great.

Cheers Jeff. Got to admit though that the pictures do it more than justice.
All the best.

Looking good, Greg. I've been there with sanding and filling model F-111 airframes
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Great to see this build. The uc looks very delicate but is quite a work of miniature engineering.

Re: Greg's 50 year old swinger
I thought it maybe too fragile so after making the undercarriage fully working (to satisfy the engineer in me) I glued it up.
Tonights session saw frantic sanding. Painting. More sanding - painting. Then assembly the beast is fully assembled. Then I noticed an omission. Not by me but by Revell. This is a Navy bird, where's the hook? That gives me something to fabricate whilst the decals are drying tomorrow.
Anyways my friends, enough of me babbling on. Pics time. Not my best build and yes I have rushed it. The pylons and tanks need more paint ( tomorrow) I am not convinced by the radome tan. The missiles will come from the spares box and are fortunately already finished.
Hopefully I will be able to get pics of a finished F111TFX on here tomorow.
All the best.

Re: Greg's 50 year old swinger
Cheers Greg. To be honest it it a bit rough round the edges. I want to finish it for the deadline so will do some remedied work at a later date. I will probably need at least three coars on those tanks and pylons. There is a little bit to do on the tailcone/fuel dump valve. And there's the arrestor hook to fabricate. After that it's decals time. Makng F14 decals fit an F111 should be fun. Got to go. It's 00:17 hrs hete and I have to be up at 05:00.

Re: Greg's 50 year old swinger
Sorry folks. Your GBL has let the side down. I had planned on finishing the build today but reality got in the way. It's an hour to midnight and unfortunately there's no way I could get this one finished. Thanks for watching and I will finish it off In my workbench thread. Again sorry for the DNF.
