Looks good Greg! So very sorry to hear about Sarah. If I can do anything pm me.
You really need to get some sleep. The model can wait. Take care of yourself and Sarah!

Hope all is well on the family front...Gregers wrote:I have heard rumour that this isn't the easiest kit to get together. We will have to see.
This kit goes together quite well so long as you don't get too worried about all the operating features, although they are rather cool to play...
Please critique my posts honestly i.e. say what you think so I can learn and improve...

Hope Sarah is doing well, Greg. The kit is a gem of 60s type working features. The operating undercarriage is a miniature work of engineering artistry.

Re: Greg's 50 year old swinger
I built the Airfix F-111E the other year and that was a filler fest around the cockpit (thanks to the "working" ejection capsule), so much so that I wouldn't rush out to build another and I'm well used to classic kit filler fests! Hopefully this Revell effort will be an improvement. Sorry to hear about Sarah and I hope she is doing OK.

Hi Guys.
Sarah is out of hospital now but nowhere near 100% healthwise. I will be resuming work on the 'Vark' quite soon.
All the best.

Just a quick update. Dry run of the cockpit assembly. Still some painting to be done on the instrument panel Then control column and belts to add.
All the best.

That's a fine looking cockpit Greg.
I so glad to hear Sarah's home. I'm hoping she gets to feeling better soon.

Re: Greg's 50 year old swinger
Time for an update. Things have been far slower than I wanted but there has been progress. Though I am WAY behind schedule. The wings have been marked and drilled for the hardpoints. Four per wing. I have hardpoints in the spares for those and will be robbing an F14 for the Pheonix missiles. The main undercarriage has been assembled, it did work as per the instructions but I have glued it up now. Anyway. Enough of me babbling. Pics here.
All the best.

Re: Greg's 50 year old swinger
Wow Greg you sure can build a model. That under carriage looks like some very delicate work! I love it!!
Re: Greg's 50 year old swinger
Thanks for the cudos Greg.
That main unit was a pain and the instructions a little vague. Luckily I have a background in engineering and sort of worked some of it out myself. Either that or I was being a bit thick when reading the instructions and muddled through regardless.
Again thanck for the cudos.
All the best.
