Re: Tim's Matchbox Military Morris
These look great, Tim. I'm inclined to agree with you about the star on the Jeep's bonnet, it does look a little too big. Most white star markings that I recall seeing fitted more inside the confines of the bonnet rather than encroaching almost to the very outer edges as per the kit decals. Maybe there were exceptions
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Re: Tim's Matchbox Military Morris
I decided to leave the decals as they were and moved on to the gun, which didn't take long to finish.

I also found the part of the wall that had gone missing during the build so once that was painted and fitted the model was finished. It looks a lot better than the last one I built.

Very nicely done. I have often wished to get a hold of one of those 17 pounders for my other Armourfast Achilles tank destroyer.

Marvellous, Tim, that really is a great build of this classic Matchbox set. I know it is said many times, but those MB bases really set off the finished model(s) - IMHO a USP that lived up to the marketing guff for once!

Thanks for the comments guys, it is a nice kit and the base does add a lot to it presentation wise.

Well done Tim. The ruined building base with this one is a nice one. For me this kit is up there with Monty Caravan.

Nicely done Tim, seeing the old Matchbox armour kits always gives a nostalgic glow, especially when done this well.
