Cheers chaps. Sometimes during a conversion, once the major parts have been sourced and bodged together, there is a moment when you look closely at the details that fell into the 'Cross that bridge when I come to it' category and think, "Aaargh! what have I got myself into here?!". Usually this is with ones based on book and comic illustrations where 3 dimensional equipment or planes just will not match up to the 2D image (deflection angles and distances with the Black Zero one recently and with the horse furniture in this one).
Were it not for the belief and encouragement of you guys with your kind comments I would probably be thinking, "I'll come back to that one later."
Converting clothed figures is pretty easy as it most often involves bending an arm or leg, and moulding that actually looks better when the putty is wrinkled. Changing a figure from a semi clad male to a fully nude female in this scale has been.......challenging! Now I come to the tricky bit of putting all the main components together and it becomes apparent that Valentina is not going to fit onto 3D horse with saddle and kit the same way as she does in the painting. The front of the saddle needs lopped off and the rolled blanket left out. In addition to this, it would not be possible to control the horse as pictured as Valentina is lying on top of the reins!
To quote the Bomb in Dark Star, ...."I must think on this"
