Another late entry that will also be going to Telford - the Airfix F-104G Starfighter.

In this case, an Airfix USA boxing:

Another very simple kit with little detail. I shan't be adding much to this, just a replacement seat and pilot.

The decals are shot, so I'll be using a set of Hasegawa decals that someone on this forum sent me a few years ago - sorry, I cannot remember who it was now! They are for a Luftwaffe or German Navy machine - there are 4 options and I'll either do a Plain Jane Marine version or a two-tone LW option. Not decided yet.

Fuselage glued together:

Don't worry, the nose cone is just in place to help keep the fuselage halves aligned.

Nice choice. Not one of Airfix's finest. Looking forward to seeing it built.

All the best.

I think those German F-104s are some of the iconic aircraft of that era and it looks like you're off to a wizard start!

I´m watching, too :)
I`m too young to have grown up with these old kits from the 60ies, but I still like to build them, nevertheless!
I feel sorry that I miss out on this GB, but my s.o.d. keeps me too busy, at the moment.
