Finally on to the main construction after waiting for the glue holding the liquid metal to set.
This pic also shows the new resin rear fuselage and the new WDNS nose, different to the recce nose in that it only has one window in the front for the laser rangefinder.
Also the view from my work area today.
Wont be going anywhere today in a hurry

Yeah, me too...
The Draken is coming along nicely too, the nose info was interesting as my Heller one doesn't really show what windows it has.

You boys have had quite a covering of snow. So far it's been much less in my part of West Yorkshire but we are quite low lying.

That's some nice progress and I'm also enjoying the wintry photos.
No snow here yet but the rumor is it's on the way.

Re: Kit's Danish Draken (Later Revell boxing 1/72 04352)
Some progress today, finally taking shape. Decided the easy option with the rear fuselage was to modify the kit parts to match the resin parts, extending the intakes to add the chaff dispensers behind ( basically what Maestro have already done as the resin parts fit the opposite plastic parts perfectly). Nose was a good fit , just a bit of blending in.
Resin pylons and ALQ-162 Jammer and EMCD chaff dispenser pods added
Started adding the Danish antenna which are different to the Swedish fit provided in the kit.
Getting there

That's shaping up to be a real looker and I especially like the way the intakes blend into the wing root.
