Re: Kit's Danish Draken (Later Revell boxing 1/72 04352)
Thanks guys, main problem with the Maestro update set is, and I quote, "we assume that the dedicated builder know the look of his modelling object". Didn't they know I was buying it? Anyway think I have identified all the parts now and caused myself extra work

Re: Kit's Danish Draken (Later Revell boxing 1/72 04352)
As I said , think I have identified all the resin parts now. Absolutely no mention of what they are on the instructions.
The rectangular part is the Airfield Arrestor Hook fairing with the hook beside it, will come to the smaller parts later.
This meant that the black area of the kit has to be removed
One vigorous sanding session later.
Fairing and hook in place
This is the Danish style fin tip with extended RWR? fairing
Kit part already in place so that's got to come off.
New fin tip in place
Back to those small parts. These are the Danish style wing tips with RWR bullets
Kit wing tips have to come off
New wing tips in place
All this would have been easier if I had identified the parts before construction

Cheers Auk, once you start researching it's amazing how different the Danish Drakens actually were.

Nice work so far. I didn't know Danish Drakens had so many extra bits and bobs.

Great stuff, Kit - it makes all the difference having the right lumps and bumps on ones Draken!

Looking great and well done on going the extra mile with the lumps and bumps.

finished this a few days ago but real life is throwing curve ball after curve ball. Rushed towards the end so not happy with it but bench time got very sparse
