The elegance of the 154 is starting to show through.
At the risk of teaching my grandmother to suck eggs, when you get to the radar antenae handle with care as they are stunningly brittle.

Thanks everyone for your comments, and GR- I haven't looked at the radar aerials yet and may well have found that out the hard way !

When I needed to fit the elevators they had disappeared so a new pair was made up from plastic card.
Image

Painting began with the primer/base colour, light grey (Revell Aqua 76).
Image

The mid grey disruptive was then airbrushed on using Aqua 47.
Image

The decals came next and they too had vanished ! replacement crosses and swastikas were found in the decal box and the codes were printed using the nearest std MS Word font.

That’s looking very nice, one of the more elegant designs that came out of the war.

I had wondered about getting another one and placing racing numbers on it rather than camp.

Your usual fantastic work!

Will you need an extension to finish this one?

This was not one of the best PM kits and did take some persuasion to come up to scratch but it was fun to build and was also a useful exercise is reworking a simple kit.
