Great progress Crash, certainly looks like a Scooter.
Hope you have plenty of filler.

On a super zoom pic, the gaps look like Grand Canyons, but, in fact, they´re not so bad lookingOld_Tonto wrote:Great progress Crash, certainly looks like a Scooter.

This is the 3rd kit from the 1950ies I´m building, first came Airfix´ Gladiator, then Frog´s Spit Mk I, and of these 3,
this seems to be the most convincing looking kit, IMHO.
Working on oldtimer kits made me "battle hardened"....

Your Scooter is coming along wonderfully, Crash!
I think this one may turn out to be a real head-turner!

That’s coming along nice.
You need to build their new version just to see how kits have come on in the last forty plus years.

I don´t plan to make it a head-turner . Progress has slowed down, but scratched elevators should be ready for glueing-on by tomorrowThe Great Auk wrote:Your Scooter is coming along wonderfully, Crash!

Thanks! That would make modelling some more easy for me, but right now, I´m not so into modern kits.splash wrote:That’s coming along nice.

Once this one´s done, I´ll return to my s.o.d.-kits, of which some are rather easy-going to build, though.
(and some of them even had their origins in this century (doh!))

at least horizontal stabs are ready now, but the elevators come first, before I glue them on the fuselage:

Progress is slow, but at least, something´s goin on:
Except for that antenna behind the canopy, I won´t add any more.
Now preparing for priming

Now, before I comment on all the other builds in this GB, I better go on with my Scooter!
I want to prime her tomorrow.
