 Gott in Himmel, Daz! you might at least have put a 'WARNING! CONTAINS GRAFIX IMAGES!' notice on this post to protect viewers sensibilities

OMG! If you spray black overall, you have a WW2 identification model.

Are only the wing roundels embossed ? I cannot see if the fuselage markings are also.

No, only the wing markings are embossed into the plastic.

Not gonna be a problem, though! ;-)

I have a cunning ( Filter Friendly ) plan for how one could use a Grafix Spit in a serious, non-ironic, diorama......
It could be made into one of the dummy aircraft that were used as airfield decoys and also to mislead
German recce planes about the D-Day build up
......there could also be an irate NCO berating a hapless squaddie for the unconvincing job he'd done. :ha:

.....oh wait! ...another idea....it could be made as one of the exploding dummy spits in a diorama of the filming of the Battle of Britain movie!
......there could also be an irate Skipper Robert Shaw berating a hapless props guy...etc.

Could always, you know, build it OOB.

Let us all bask in it's inaccuracies....

I may as well join in the very helpful suggestion game.
How about a Reno style air racer, all the inaccuracies explained away as racing modifications.

I did find this little aircraft - the fuselage shape is quite similar, though the wings are the wrong (right!) way around!

Thinking about it, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to start this one, as the Starfix kits are taking a bit longer to finish off.

This is partly down to a lack of mojo of late!

If I can do this one, I will, but I might have to put it back in the box for the time being!

Here's hoping for the best, Daren!

You've done magnificent work on your other models, so no one could blame you for wanting to spare the time and trouble on this beast.

All the best,

Sorry, folks, this one was a non-starter.

I will, however, attempt to bash it together in a dedicated thread over in the Aviation forum.

You are a very brave man, Daren, tackling three monumental duds at once. I am near knackered after only one!
