iggie's French Figures ***finished***

This is a "get your feet wet" GB for figures and busts for those who have been reluctant to try or want to expand their skills. Any era, any scale, any subject -- even supporting vehicles/equipment are allowed, say in a diorama/vignette.
This GB runs from 1st January to 11th February and your host is rob_van_riel.

Bugger; I knew I forgot summat!

Thank you folks for your very kind words! As I have commented in my WW thread, I actually really enjoyed this GB as it was a chance for something new (to me anyhow) and to try new techniques. I can see more figures appearing on my bench in the future; just perhaps not involving rigging horses this time eh?

Great idea for a GB Rob; thanks for enticing me out to play in it! Image
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Superb result. I like how this went from a frantic war time evacuation to a scene of everyday tranquility.

Is there a plan for the other civilians and the soldiers that came with the set?

I'm going to chalk that up as 'mission accomplished' :-D

You can indeed!

As far as the other figures in the set are concerned, I'm going to use them (apart from the nun, they give me nightmares  ) in a diorama when I've thought of something suitable
Best wishes
