Previously-built Models
Here post 1-2 images of previous builds of GB-subject models. You do not have to be a member of this GB to do so.
If your model has a build thread on UAMF (old or new), then please include the link.

Re: Previously-built Models
My interpretation of John Singer Sargent's famous painting Gassed. Some description of the work is here.
The Resicast 1/35 horses (are figures IMO) with GS Wagon, a review kit for AMPS.
Master Box 1/35 Somme vignette, another review kit for AMPS.
John Wayne as Cpt. Nathan Brittles from the John Ford classic She Wore a Yellow Ribbon, done for the Screen Stars GB in 2015.

Re: Previously-built Models
I have a few...
Highlights from that mob:
A Historex 'Modellisme Vivant' set, pretty much OOB:
Some more Historex, a French Imperial Guard engineer, and a Silesian Hussar:
Again Historex, trumpeters of both Imperial Guard lancer regiments:
Aifrix George Washingtop/10th Hussar mixup, now French 18th centurie Rosencavallerie:
Airfix Scots Grey:
The Scots Grey, teamed up with the pair from http://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=11900&start=19;, actually bagged me a nice 1/48 Seafire at last year's New Year's meet
Some other recent builds at viewtopic.php?f=342&t=13488&start=61 and viewtopic.php?f=378&t=16314&start=31

Airfix 54mm Pikeman and Musketeer
I naively painted the pikeman as directed by Airfix and then was informed it was mostly a Victorian fancy and everything was much blander
Hawk 1/32 "Jim Clark"
This is the rather lovely figure that comes with Hawk's ancient Lotus 30, the car is as simplified as the the figure is detailed.
FineMolds 1/32 (?) Porco Rosso
Again this came with a kit of the titular pig's Savoia S21F in 1/72
Death Trooper - Cinema promo "cup topper"
Black polyethylene but very nice detail, resprayed gloss black and details picked out in different finishes and shades of black/grey
I had a misspent youth and also painted a 100 or so Citadel miniatures in my mid teens. I'm still using many of my Citadel paints from back then 25+ years ago!

Re: Previously-built Models
You get something very similar with many Napoleonics; nearly all miniatures are in full dress uniform, yet they are often shown in action/battle poses. No sane soldier would risk his expensive dress uniform in those conditions (any repairs were paid for by the soldiers themselves..), but would wear much simpler service dress in action, unless there was no real choice in the matter.JamesPerrin wrote:I naively painted the pikeman as directed by Airfix and then was informed it was mostly a Victorian fancy and everything was much blander
Sure looks fancy though

Lily Munster was picked up at SMW four years ago and those who saw her there will appreciate why there are no full-length shots. Lily was airbrushed with Andrea flesh tones and finished with Vallejo acrylics
The rug and skull were painted in oils

Had this 40K miniature around for nearly a decade I think, undercoated in black. It's a Space Marine Chaplain wearing Terminator armour. Luckily Chaplain's wear black armour regardless of their chapter. I finally finished it, probably inspired by this GB.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!
