I have plenty of the "what's on sale" brushes too, and had been using them most of the time. Every once in a while, I got a "better" brush, but was always told the Kolinsky sable brushes were the best. Now, I have to say, they are the best I've used. Here's the one I used to do most of the painting on this group of figures.rob_van_riel wrote:Apparently minor things like this can really make a difference. My choice of brushes is all too often determined by what happens to be on sale when I need some. Do your new brushes carry a recognisable brand you could tell us about?mjatx wrote:I also got a very nice set of new brushes for Christmas and they really hold paint well.
Winsor & Newton Series 7, Size 0
A great point, and I like said before, it really held paint well.
I've also started using this soap to clean my brushes. I should probably clean them more than I do, but right now I clean the ones I use the most about once or twice a month.
Thanks, Iggie!iggie wrote:I had to go back twice to make sure I'd read the scale correctly! Awesome work!
