Re: Mav's Simple Start ***STARTED 3pm***
If you are using acrylics I cheat and borrow my wife’s hairdryer to speed up the paint drying.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Sorry this update has taken a while folks.
Model Air for some reason doesn't like me today so I've had to wait!

Thanks splash.
Progress has begun to get quite slow at the moment as the daughter is currently in her half asleep bedtime mode and i cant use the airbrush.
So I sorted the landing gear out:
Oh and the wings are masked for the grey to go on the wings.
My entertainment for tonight will be a full dose of random YouTube modelling and aviation videos, with the next pack of Jaffa and the same bottle of shandy.

Coming along nicely by the look of things!
Best wishes
Jim
If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Thanks folks.
Unfortunately I had alot of trouble spraying Vallejo Model Air Red so I didn't get this one finished, I will get this one done though as she looks alot like the Bulldog and really loving it!
The rest of the build will be posted in my Workbench.

Shame you didn't finish, Mav, but the Blitz can be a hard taskmaster! Better luck next time and it would be great to see the Zlin finished at some point - the red/white/grey trainer scheme will really suit it I'm sure as it does look good on the S.A. Bulldog and the Zlin does indeed look very similar.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Bad luck, a couple of set backs can really mess up a blitz.
It was a brave move going for the multi colour scheme in a blitz, as you always have the paint drying issue and masking time that really eat into the 24 hours.
A great attempt, I look forward to following it on you workbench thread

Thanks guys, Im also having problems with the nose weight, I've crammed it full of fishing shot and it still drops back like there's nothing in the nose.

Shame about the paint but a good attempt none the less. I'll watch the workbench to see it finished.
