There's a lot of detail on that for a blitz kit, but it's looking really good.
Hope you all enjoyed the film and your wife feels better soon

This is a great old kit and you are making good progress with it despite the pressures of real life. Hopefully your wife will get well soon!
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Thanks for the well wishes! The wife tested positive for Flu B yesterday, so she's really into the worst of it this afternoon. Just made her some chicken noodle soup. The kids and I enjoyed Black Panther. Good action, some funny parts, and really incredible visuals.
Before heading out, I short order cooked breakfast for the wife and kids.
Then we had pizza for lunch after the movie.
Now, back to the kit. I hope to make a little more progress on the kit, but I got back later than expected and other regular life delays. Since this is just Part 1, I think we'll be OK.

Mrs iggie and I had flu just before Christmas and it's really only been the last two weeks that we can say that we felt totally over it.... not good!

Don't worry, the fruit was for family members. My breakfast (not pictured) was the remaining bacon wrapped in a tortilla.iggie wrote:Mrs iggie and I had flu just before Christmas and it's really only been the last two weeks that we can say that we felt totally over it.... not good!

Had a few distractions, but managed to get the gun completed. Here's where that stands now.
I've adjusted my goal for session #1. Now, I'm just hoping to have the entire gun built by 6pm tonight (less than 2 hours from now). Time to buckle down.

I managed to finish the trailer. The kit really shows it's age in some places, especially with the level of flash. Every piece needs careful clean up, but still I'm happy with my progress at this point.
Here's the completed trailer.
I'm leaving the shovel off the lower armor plating. When I get around to adding the piece to a vignette, I may add one in the background, but I didn't like how it looked on the part, so it's gone. Other than that, every part in the kit was used and there's none to spare.
Here's my time stamp and end of session one.
Here's some better pictures of the kit as of now. I'm leaving the wheels off to paint separately. I probably had enough time to throw a coat of primer on it, but decided to hold off and do it in session #2. Speaking of which, could happen tomorrow. I just remembered, that I'm off tomorrow for President's Day.
Thanks for following along.

Very nice looking artillery piece, and 10/10 for the music choices. Bad Manners are currently on tour here in Australia at the moment

Great work it’s coming along nicely
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.
