Splash oddball Sherman’s ****1 x finished 1 x DNF *****
I might get time next weekend to have another go at a blitz, so I’m thinking of a simple conversion and make a tulip with a punch.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Intriguing!
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

Did this have something to do with rockets on a turret?

Re: Splash goes Dutch place holder
Yes it’s a simple Firefly Tulip conversation, you just have to love the concept of fitting a/c rockets on the side of a tank.

Re: Splash oddball Sherman’s ****started*****
The Firefly Tulip was originally a Canadian idea to up arm armoured cars by adding RP’s (Rocket Projectiles) this idea eventually finished up as adding 60lb 3inch RP’s as used on a/c to the turrets of Sherman tanks and later Cromwell tanks, the idea was not as anti tank as the RP’s were not very accurate in this role but to lay down heavy firepower if ambushed by troops.
