Greg jnr's first build. Blitz time.

Post by Gregers »

As the title says. Greg jnr has decided he wants to build a Hurricane so Dad duly obliged and a Hobbyboss Hurricane was purchased from Aeroventure. Letz Blitz. Incidentally musical accompaniment is Sweet, Ballroom blitz.
Sorry. Sprue shot was forgotten about in our haste.

All the best.

More progress after a slight intermission (someone left his railway track on the floor upstairs and needed to move it)

All the best.

Looks like some good progress!

And having to remove railway tracks from bedroom floors brings back some very old memories

I could do with a rev counter for the boat; only we won't need the x1000 bit  :-D
Best wishes

Cheers for following and for the encouragement. It has been passed on the Greg jnr.
A bit more progress but we will be having a break whilst things dry. And we get food. We may have t goto the supermarket too uunfortunately.
Iggie. I think a Lycoming flat six to match one of these guages would make the Great Escape escape more than a bit faster. Ever seen a canal boat with it's bow in the air?

All the best.

Well that is coming along quite nicely! I see he has his dads good taste in aircraft. Seems he’s getting some good encouragement too. I’ll check back in a couple of hours to catch up. Go Greg go!!!

The little guy is really enjoying the build. I hsd to helpout with the assembly of the prop and uundercarriage though. A bit too fiddly for 7 year old fingers. I am having to charge my phone but I will take the latest pic soon. Here is the state of play up to about 30 mins ago.

All the best.
