Model Magazine References List (Excel)

Post by KitBaseGary »

John Loughman of Australia has been compiling a list of model magazine references for the last 30 years. The list now has around 19,500 entries, covering several thousand publications.

In 2010, John kindly offerred to share the list with the modelling community and I posted it on the KitBase website. I have now posted a new version.

Presently, the data cannot be imported into KitBase but I'm sure it will prove useful when researching particular kits. As John has pointed out, if you don't own a mammoth collection of magazines, it's likely that a member of your local model club might be able to provide access to the ones required.

The latest Excel file can be downloaded here:

Please feel free to pass on the link to anyone who might be interested.

Update:

Following a few questions about the abbreviations, John provided me with some clarifications and I have added them to the readme.txt file in the zip.

You can download the latest zip from the same place as before:

Cheers,
Gary
