I know Oxfam is in the news for lots of bad reasons at the moment but they are selling a good range of Airfix railway stuff(Mogul, Evening Star, Stephenson’s Rocket -and some rolling stock)as well as some older aircraft (Gnat, Hellcat, NG Mustang IV and old Beaufighter). I’ve brought a few bits and bob there before and not had any issues so far.

Thanks for the heads up Matt. I had a look but their prices seem high compared to some careful shopping on eBay - some were hilarious e.g £49.99 for the Airfix Turntable - I wouldn't pay more than about a tenner for one personally.

TBH I wasn’t too sure on the normal prices for Airfix railway stuff but it’s always worth a try!
