Huddersfield 2016
We've had out table confirmation for Huddersfield 2016 on the 21 Feb. We've got just two tables double depth (~6'x4') so just room for the track layout and the back board.

Looks very good !! My poor ol' coaches really took a beating, maybe I should have done a mail coach to make them happy.

Re: Huddersfield 2016
Many thanks for taking the photos James. I thought the new venue was fit for purpose, certainly the lighting was a great improvement - I didn't feel a headache coming on this year! Biggest PITA was a lack of seating for the participants, we had one chair allocated to us and some cheeky blighter tried to steal that whilst James and I had our backs turned! I felt that attendance by Joe Public was perhaps down on previous years, certainly in the afternoon when IMHO the show appeared to be largely populated by branch and SIG members. That said, we attracted a fair bit of interest in our display and it was worth presenting something different to the norm - certainly I didn't hear any negative comments. IMHO the display, although a smaller version of the one we put on at Telford, looked good and I consider the hard work that went into it to have been very worthwhile. Hopefully the traders made enough to encourage them to continue supporting the show and overall I enjoyed the occasion and intend to return next year.
