Will there be a Boxtop III?

What makes a British kit a Classic? What Classic kit is really British? What is the SIG all about and what goes on...from initial musings, to full on campaigning. It'll all be here, interspersed with talk of Texan Bars, Alias Smith & Jones and The Flashing Blade, Footy Cards and Bath Night, before School.

Will there be a Boxtop III?

Post by philp »

I finally got the Airfix 88mm Gun and Tractor kit and since it is looking like I will get to attend SMW next year, I am hoping to do this for the table.

My box is a later offering and the Airfix logo covers up the armored car on the left so now figuring I might need to include it as a build. Can anyone tell if it is a SdKfz 232, 231 or 263?

Also any idea what the truck behind the gun is?

Actually thinking of maybe trying a box dio to limit the view to the same as the box top but want to see how people feel about that?

There maybe a Box Art III in the future but I think we need to have a bit of a change for 2013. We'll start discussing ideas in earnest after Christmas.
