CBK @ Huddersfield Show 16th Feb 2014 w/pics

What makes a British kit a Classic? What Classic kit is really British? What is the SIG all about and what goes on...from initial musings, to full on campaigning. It'll all be here, interspersed with talk of Texan Bars, Alias Smith & Jones and The Flashing Blade, Footy Cards and Bath Night, before School.

CBK @ Huddersfield Show 16th Feb 2014 w/pics

We've been confirmed our table allocation and have secured the same 4 tables we had last year. From the public entrance we are on the left hand side facing the centre isle.

Due to a couple of members not being able to make the show and their kits for the "My 1st CBK" display not being available we do have a bit of extra space.

I therefore invite any CBK members who are attending the show to bring a couple of kits with them for display on the table.

* The kits obviously must be CBKs but it doesn't matter if they have been displayed before.
* Pick something you are proud of, and is maybe a bit different.
* Please be fair, ie don't turn up with two four engine bombers. So one large or two smaller models.
* The kits should be on display for majority of the show ie not for just a couple of hours while you shop :ha:

I would also ask any CBKer attending to please help out manning the table so that Matt and I can stretch our legs.

Look forward to seeing you all there, please come and say hello. If we've not met, introduce please yourself, it's great to put a face to a name!

Just home after a pleasant day at the Huddersfield model show. Busy as usual but not as packed as it has been in the past. Plenty of punters took their time to stop and chat about the models and we received some nice comments including from Mr Mike McEvoy himself. Thanks to the guys for helping out, Matt, Iain, Chris, Shane and new boy Shaun!

Great display chaps. If I hadn't had a colleague in the car, I may have diverted to Huddersfield on my way home from York this morning.

Very good work.
