Okay, first off a picture of the all important box and what i am trying to re-produce,
Image
The box is dated 1975 so i was 9 back then :) the contents were still sealed in there bags

They should bring back this colour plastic, lovely
Next the instructions, decals and an offer to join the airfix club for only 25p
Image
Construction has begun, lots of parts had detatched themselves from the sprues, only problem found is the steps that lead from the flight deck to the side door have broken off  also they were nowhere to be found in the bag. This isnt a problem as that door is on the far side and will be closed.Basic cockpit structure is together and i have made a start on painting the crew. Both sides of the fusalage interior have been painted as well.
Image.
Thanks for looking

I missed this until now. Being an ex-mechanic on the hercs you can guess that I'm a huge fan. This looks like it could be a bit of a challenge due to its age. I'm pulling for you and I'm looking for your next set of pictures.

Nice subject Bromo, I'm looking forward to seeing the big Herc with that camo on it.
The only way I got to keep them Tigers busy is to LET THEM SHOOT HOLES IN ME!

Cheers Dirk, the only problem i can forsee is getting the fusalage to close up at the front as there is a bit of warp there, tabs of plastic card will be the order of the day i think.
Cheers Woodstock i really like these colours as well something different to the greys and greens.

British Leyland used to sell cars in that colour

How is the moulding on the Bloodhound? Graham has a later boxing of that, and the figures are short shot and there is a lot of flash.

Cheers
