Hales (ex-Frog) Flying Models

I know y'all aren't into this aspect of CBK, but I'm on a vintage flying model kick right now, so ...

Frog transferred some 130 of it's flying construction kits to a competitor, A.A.Hales, in 1963. You can read all about it and see the product line in Lines & Hellstrom, pg252+.

They were produced under the label "FrogFlite" and when I saw this on E-bay, I jumped at it but then when I got it, I re-read L&H and discovered this was not a Frog original. On the plus side it didn't break the piggy-bank and is in excellent condition.

It is not stick-and-tissue. The wings & tail are sheet and the fuselage is built from a few formers and two sides with sheet bent around top & bottom. Rubber-powered. Span around 18", I think.

Anyway, I thought I'd put it here in case someone comes up with a true Frog.

It's my model and I'll do what I want with it.
