Please see the new thread.
Established in 1982, by Chris Gannon, I believe that these should qualify for CBK status.
Focusing on mainly WWI subjects, the range is generally esoteric and covered a lot of subjects not covered elsewhere.
Packaging was basic and few plastic pieces were supplied, although accuracy was a common theme and, where it mattered, surface detail was good.
Some kits, though not all, included white metal detail parts and strut material. That said, most kits I've encountered relied on you finding your own plasticard to m,ake your own bits and struts from, using templates given within the instructions.
Decals were also usually basic, though of high quality and lozenge decals were supplied for those few kits that need it.
(As an aside, Pegasus also produced a range of beautiful lozenge decal sheets.
Due to life changes, Chris was unable to continue the business and, in 2008, Colin Strachan of Freightdog Models bought Pegasus, Silver Cloud and Blue Max, the 1/48 range of kits. You can now buy Pegasus kits from Freightdog and often at a far lower price than those found on our favourite n-line auction site, or from our fave on-line secondhand kit dealers.
You can also buy lozenge decal sheets from Freightdog.
I've compiled a list of Pegasus kits, all in 1/72 and would appreciate any further info.. I intend to contact Colin at Freightdog, but in the meantime, this is as far as I've got;
