I changed the topic to "Discussion", with the intent to open a Sticky Post titled "Merlin Models" containing the compiled list.

Hope everyone is ok with that.
I had intended that the first post[s] contains the list and then gets edited from the info in the discussion below. People can then see where bits of information have come from. I prefer keeping it all is one thread. We would need to lock the sticky list else people would just carry on the discussion anyway.

An update , correction and questions . The white metal accessory sets had as listed WM AC 6 WW1 engines , there was also WM AC Six WW2 aero engines , this is how the two sets were labled .
Please could Bruce add this to the list and also correct #64 it should read Breguet XIX B .
Douglas Skyshark , what number is this kit ? I have a picture of a box for this kit it definitely has a number but my picture is dirty and unclear . It could be prefaced with an "A" and appears to be 5? . I cannot see a missing number in the 50's

Thanks for that , on a further look I have been able to answer my own question , the Douglas Skyshark is definitely kit number A58 and this leads me to believe the Nieuport 12 listed as kit number 58 is an error , this was in fact a 1/48 scale kit not 1/72

Hmmm, went back through PAK-20, and you are right, A58 is the Skyshark.
The Nieuport XII in 48th would be Q4, which it is already listed as.

I believe that there were aircraft and model railway kits issued by Pamela Veal.

Pamela Veal's aircraft kits are listed in the second posting in this thread , I have the Bucker but for a long while did not know who the manufacturer was as I had been given it without instructions or packaging and I do not think I have ever made a 1/48 scale kit . In comparison to Merlin , Veeday and Valhalla kits , they are much better , even given that they are vacuform I think they would be easier to build a presentable model , and in the hands of an experienced modeller the Bucker could easily be a prize winner . I was not aware of the model railway subjects , can you tell us more about them ?

A few corrections that should be made just to tidy the lists up .
Kit number 101 I have spelt incorrectly should read Kaman , there is no R .
Kit number 102 is a Mitsubishi Ki-8 not Nakajima , I have a picture of the kit showing the lable .
Kit number 58 Nieuport 12 2 seater needs to be removed as this is an error .
Kit number 58 Douglas A2D Skyshark . ( actual number A58 ) . this kit needs to be removed from the list of kits without numbers . Not sure if it needs to be identfied as a not very good kit , Merlin kits were almost universally disappointing , only the degree of disappointment varied .

Read this with interest, as I have several Merlin kits. Can add only one spelling correction it should be Nord GriffOn II in the no catalog number list. Dragged out the Ju-287 and have to say that I've never felt the urge to make it.
