Well you know I'm all for a move to get everything settled under one roof John, so I feel your suggestion is the right way to go.

If yourself and the admin team could get the three new fora set up and running then I will set to the task of transposing the information contained on the old site to the new.

With regards to ex-members contributions, if it is information / history etc then it should stay with the Sig but photo based posts that no longer have photos are of little value so can probably be discarded. Obviously I would like to hear all of our members views on this before I start populating our new boards.

Regards

Tom

OK, I'll take the lead on the forum set-up here and get it done in next few days.
I'd like to volunteer to do the history/reference moves, later.

Regarding ex-member info, I agree with you, that was given to the SIG. Older photo-less posts are probably not worth recovering; any text would probably be meaningless without the photos.

Absolutely fine with me John, I know you've have put considerable effort into the historical aspect of the SIG and I'd be more than happy to continue with it in your stewardship. I'm pleased we see the ex-member situation in the same light as well.

Tom

The real world should always take priority over a hobby John so no rush. I'm just happy we've got this project heading In the right direction  .
