I have voted December but, upon reflection, that's a stupid choice for me. I'll basically try to follow the crowd . . .

Re: Monogram build ***Poll Added***
I've also voted, yep.
I might add the Starfighter Hawk P-6 resin parts + Decal sheet to my build. As the MG kit only comes with its basic 1966 cockpit with a pilot. That has a horrific gunshot wound!

I have a few Monogram kits in the stash. Count me in too. As for time frame, later in the year is fine if that's what everyone else wants to do.

Re: Monogram build ** On Calendar **
If I can fit it in, I have the 4-8-8-4 UP "Big Boy" - I also have a '57 Chevy Nomad but potentially bigger plans than a GB.
And, oh yes, it's on the Calendar for October !

Defo have the D0-17Z (Revell re-box)
And this is a good opportunity to have a dig through the stash, see if any more of my old Revells are MG re-boxings.
Well that's my afternoon sorted - after an hour or so of plastic fondling, I'll probably end up at the bench with something

Re: Monogram build ** On Calendar **
Uhm, I have a car kit of the lovely Chevy Impala. A few weeks ago I sprayed the body. That's all I've done, and it's put away in the closet.
Would it be legit?
If not then I understand.

Yeah go for it, it'll be nice to have you aboard. I'm sure that if all you have done is paint the body shell that'll be within thw GB rules.Prisca wrote:Uhm, I have a car kit of the lovely Chevy Impala. A few weeks ago I sprayed the body. That's all I've done, and it's put away in the closet.

(I'm sure someone will set me straight if I'm wrong)
It'll be nice to see a non-aviation subject anyway.
Cheers,
Stuart

Re: Monogram build ** On Calendar **
I'd like Prisca to complete the Impala in the GB as
a ) its a great looking car and
b ) Prisca does such nice work on her cars

Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Hi Guys! (And Sissel )
So then, are we still up for this? There was a fair bit of interest if I recall – and it’s always nice to have a go at something different.
I have to admit that I don’t actually have any Monogram kits in the stash, so I’m going to have to get myself one. But that was kind of why I suggested it. I’m thinking of doing their P-40.
Cheers
Stuart
