On the Calendar.
As I read the intro post, the GB is for aircraft in French markings, regardless if French built or not ?
I saw a few references to IAF markings and wanted to be sure we all understood.

Your Magister doesn't have French markings? I can send you some spares if you want.
I might be tempted to join this one - I have a ton of Hellers waiting to be done and some very unusual ones. Time, of course, is the big factor and I'll have to see where we are closer to start time.

For a moment I thought this GB was in September.
Well it did say "Frog model build"

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Dammit, just done my only Frenchie, Heller's 1/72 Morane 225. Had I actaully had a proper READ of the forum I would have sat on it for this GB.

I will be in on this one if I may.
I am sure I have a Seafire somewhere with French Navy markings.
Or I might chip in with a Bearcat from Indochina.

I picked up a Heller Bloch 210 at show last month so I'm in. The best part about picking up that kit is that I can finally use another set of decals from DP Casper's Munich Crisis decal sheet. Now, all I need is a Dewoitine D501 or 510.
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

Re: French aircraft build ** On Calendar **
I once got a dirty look from my professor when taking "History of World War I" at UAB. Dr. Tent was going on about the British, Germans, and Russians having their offensives and asked who he left out. Without thinking, I blurted out "The Frogs!", he gave me a dirty look and replied "Yes, the French." The guy next to me nearly fell out of his chair laughing his head off. In my defense, I had been immersed in Alexander Kent's sea stories covering the Age of Sail from the American Revolution to the Napoleonic Wars. :Pfredk wrote:eejit!Dazzled wrote:For a moment I thought this GB was in September.
