Now you're all just being very silly. I don't want to go all Furious (like a Hornet) on you and Formid you to mention puns at all. No, I can't do that. Wouldn't be very Courageous of me.AndrewR wrote:He's hookedPaulBradley wrote:Certainly an arresting subject.....

Re: Naval Aircraft Build?
Yes, we just had a naval air GB in March.

It's my model and I'll do what I want with it.

I must have missed that one, John! Sharp as a beachballjRatz wrote:Yes, we just had a naval air GB in March.
So, how do you wish us to proceed? There seems to be enough interest in another (timing of course being everything).
Thoughts:
1) Set it towards the middle or second half of 2015,
2) Redefine it (either reduce it to a particular service eg FAA, or a particular time period, or even a particular type)
3) Reject it as a subject.
At the moment, I would plump for 1). What do you think?

I'd plump for Door number 2. I'll take FAA aircraft, please, Bob.

I'll go with that - still gives me a chance to build a Seafire and a Sea Fury.

Door No 2 for me too please.
Not that I'm biased, but the Fleet Air Arm is a good subject.

My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

I would prefer it to be 1, but I'll go along with the majority view.

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Re: Naval Aircraft Build?
My contribution would probably be FAA anyway - but I'll follow the crowd.

Re: Naval Aircraft Build?
Personally, I'd prefer option 1. I do have one or two FAA suitable kits in the stash but I have a lot more from other forces.

Re: Naval Aircraft Build?
Agreed, option 1 - It would be nice to have the option of building something other than FAA aircraft (even though FAA aircraft will probably form the majority of the builds) - I have plenty of US Navy stuff that I could do.
Stuart Templeton I may not be good but I'm slow...
