de Havilland GB anyone? *** GB Forum is Open ***

Post by Gregers »

Hi folks.

Is there any interest in a Chipmunk GB for next year? or even a de Havilland GB for any aircraft built by DH? I suggest a 4 week build and any kit/scale for either suggestion. I will of course be GBLif it goes ahead.

All the best.

I'm in Greg, have eight Airfix Chipmunk kits in the stash and four AZ kits on pre-order.

I'd be in for either a Chipmunk or a DH one, or even a DH-Canada one.

That's 5 for a Chipmunk build with four (myself included) who would go for any de Havilland type. I have several Chipmunk kits including an Aeroclub 48th scale one. I would also be tempted to do a DH Domini

All the best.

I would be up for a DH build, I have a DH88 Comet that has sat around the stash for far too long.

I'd be up for a DH build (another Mossie of course) but not a Tiger Moth one. (I meant Chipmunk, honest  ).

I'd be up for a DH build but not a Chipmunk one.

I'd be up for a Chipmunk/DH build - I'm currently building a Airfix Chippie and it's a nice little kit - it has a few issues but they are easy to fix. Besides - Hannants have the new re-poped Airfix kit for £2-99 at present. Perhpas they are trying to get rid of their stock before the new AZ model comes out.

Cheers

No on Chipmunk only (sorry Bluesteel), but I might be interested in a DH/Airco GB, schedule dependent.

Looks like DH/DHC/AirCo is favoured more than a just a Chippie.
Time for a date poll?

General consensus seems to be for a DH build, I will go with the majority vote, unless it is a tie of course. ;-)

Date poll to follow.

All the best.
