Wow! You're granting us a 6-week GB? I'd be up for that. Suggest we go firm on that, quickly!

Martin

Sorry, chaps,

My attention has been elsewhere this last week. I will ask JRatz to put this on the diary for mid-Apr to end-May for this.

The above is no longer an option, built this in the MIG GB.  D'oh. Okay back to the stash. April is good for me.
(By the way, despite the 'latest unread post' being from mid August from my POV, this has only just resurfaced in my 'view your posts'!?!?).
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

That would pretty much bulleye my sweetspot for large projects. Count me in, I'm never short on crazy ideas :-D

Candidates are Airfix C-47 into American Airlines DC-3 flagship, or, if completion of an older mothballed project is acceptable, RA-5C to A-5A (and if not I might just decide to do two Viggies, and call the completion part the preparation for the second; both projects are intended to result in moulds for resin replacement parts for further conversions anyway..)

I think I'll get in on this. I have an Airfix Cessna Bird dog, a razor saw....... and a cunning plan.

All the best.

Just to clarify, conversion to a weirdo Luft 46 whiff/blueprint is OK, right? Like, say, some lunatic putting a jet engine on a FW-190?

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Completely Off Topic, but it's a testament to the quality of the cast on Blackadder that the two best running jokes came from the actors rather than Curtis/Elton.. Tony Robinson suggested the insert of "Cunning" to "I have a plan" in the script and Stephen Fry got Tim McInnerny's character changed from 'Capt. Cartwright' to 'Capt. Darling' in the 4th series.
