it seems there were enough responses to put this is on the calendar Greg so i was wondering what dates were you going to suggest i would join in with a ship build if it doesn't clash with other GBs

Ok folks. We have enough intetest. Now the criteria. Have I set it too small with the 'bigger than a Lancaster' idea? Basically I think what I was getting at is going the next step up. Not just a couple of feet bigger but quite noticeably bigger.

I think 'bigger than a Lanc' is a fine measure

I was thinking that the lanc being the starting line so anything bigger is ok but not a lanc itself. A Lincoln conversion however.....
