August Blitzbau ??
We usually have two a year and it's about time for #2 so it's time to cast your vote -- poll stays open 10 days and you can change your vote.
I'll need a GB Leader for this also.
For new folks, this is a UAMF trademark. You can see one of the old Blitzbau threads, but basic rule is any kit, built in 24 hours straight. There is the 'wuss' option, which I prefer as the 'senior citizen' option, which allows you to break that into two approximately equal halves over contiguous two days. Participation and fun are the keys, but trying to stretch yourself is also nice (a bad habit that I have). We run the whole thing for a month to give you flexibility to block out a space to do it in -- we'll run it 1-31 August.

Re: August Blitzbau ??
I'll have to be a 'nope' - Scale Model Expo is 20-21 August and I will be desperately trying to finish ANYTHING for it...then again...a blistbau may be the final option to achieve that!!
Please critique my posts honestly i.e. say what you think so I can learn and improve...

Re: August Blitzbau ??
Since I first got here i've been interested in the blizbau and I love following the builds. Last year was the first time I had a subject in hand and was moving toward an actual blitz but it never transpired. Maybe this yea I can but time for me (Like most of us) is at a premium.
So as much as I'd like to say yes I'm hoping for a strong maybe but the reality will probably be a nope.
That said I'll defiantly be a cheering spectator!!!

Subject number one is a top notch Blitzer, Bruce. I have built six of them (as G-10's and K-4's) oNly have two left as I gave the rest away.

Re: August Blitzbau ??
After watching the Blitzs that have gone by since finding UAMF last August im tempted by this, just a matter of finding a kit i could do in the time scale, i know its possible after finishing my Spitfire Vb in 3 hours
