Re: August Blitzbau ??
By the book we need at least 6 confirmed, which we do not have. Although we have 4 maybes, I am releuctant to schedule this given the January one was lightly attended.
We shall try again in 2012; it is sad that we may see the passing of a UAMF signature event ....

Re: August Blitzbau ??
Its a pity that there may not be an August Blitzbau as I'm sure I could have found time to take part this time.

Even if there's not a formal Blitzbau, there's nothing stopping anyone doing a bit of blitzin' anyway just 'coz they can...

Re: August Blitzbau ??
I am always up for a Blitz. Only kit finished so far this year was the Jan blitz.
I am in if we do it and will probably do one anyway. Nats is the first week of August and while still not sure if I can make it this year, a quick blitz before I go or while there would help.
I do have an idea that should take less than an hour to do once I have all the bits but wouldn't count this in a Blitz as it isn't really a kit build.

Count me in.
Re: August Blitzbau ??
I really wish I could commit. If I could get the wife and kids out of town for a weekend I'd do it for sure.

You could just lock them in the basement and pretend they were out of town....

With 5 committed and 4 possibles, I'd schedule it anyhow. It's not as if there is a scheduling conflict in the calender.jRatz wrote:By the book we need at least 6 confirmed, which we do not have. Although we have 4 maybes, I am releuctant to schedule this given the January one was lightly attended.

As usual, I will be cheering from the sidelines
Cheers

Maybe it is not a good idea to bend any rules. Why else do we have them. The thread is wide open even if the poll closes. If it changes, John can decide.
Personally, I am thinking of doing one anyway. We'll see.
