Re: One thing into another conversion GB ** On Draft 2016 Ca
Mid April to End of May sounds good to me, which means I haven't realised there's something else I'm booked for. :( No matter, I'll work something out. :D Possibly go with a PR XI Spitfire or Mohawk using the Airwaves nose or P-40F using similar if they sound OK

As long as it's a conversion, that's tippety tip top by me.

I saw a similar conversion to the one I did a while back, except it was the old-tool Mk.IX. I might have a crack at that....!

So, FROG Do 335A-12 scratch-modified into a B-6 with mucking great cannon and a big wing? Academy / Heller Tempest V into a Tempest I whif (Jay's model conversion)? Or Heller Vampire FB.5 into a F.1 whif (Jay's model conversion)? Decisions, decisions . . .

How about a Monogram B-52D Stratofortress into the XB-52 prototype? Nothing like a tandem seating 'Buff' added to the collection.
On second thoughts, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place!

No turnips, just an aircraft that ended up in a field due to an unplanned arrival . More will be revealed during the build.fredk wrote:Does it also involve a turnip M'Lord?Gregers wrote:I think I'll get in on this. I have an Airfix Cessna Bird dog, a razor saw....... and a cunning plan.

Hi folks,
Dates for this build confirmed as 16 Apr to 29 May, so 6 weeks to do a conversion. How hard can it be . . . ?

I had a similar idea but with a turboprop onto a MKXIV. I was thinking something like the Piper Enforcer. I shelved the idea though and converted the model into G-FIRE when it was in primer for it's first flight.

I should still be in for this with at least one build, maybe two.
