Swingers GB?

Post by Stuart »

No not THAT type of Swinger - take your keys out of my fruit bowl!

Any aircraft, any scale - all it needs is a wing that swings...

Any interest?

Cheers

Stuart

Good excuse for my Tonka, or my Su-22, or my Tu-22, or my Mig-23. Oh hell, see what you done now? Damn there's an F-111 and an F-14 there too

Oh yes. Definitely want to build an East German Su-22.

I also have a Tomcat and at least 2 Mig-23's to build.

Well, seeing as 'ow my daft inquiry may have led to this suggestion I'd better sign up.

In November '12 I was given a Tornado GR4 by a chap from 617 squadron who works on them. He's a casual friend of #1 son, so whenever they're in touch he always asks if I've built it yet. So far I've bluffed my way -''waiting on special decals'', and I was, but now I've got three sets of those decals. I'll get on and build it.

I have a few more Tonkas that I can do for this. I picked up a few for very little money in last year's big Airfix sales.

The chap from 617 sqd also gave me a Vulcan kit to do in 617 markings. Still bluffing it out with that one; ''no room for it yet''
Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

Might go for this, have two Tonka's to do as well as a Tomcat in a special build.
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

I'm interested in this if it's next year. Not sure what with yet but I have quite a few contenders.

All the best.
