I'm still in too with an oddball one.

All the best.

The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.

That's intriguing. Are we going to have to wait until November to find out what it is?

I think we should! The less I think about Gregers oddballs the better!

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

The USS Randolph was also (sort of ) involved. A friend who flew Cougars with VA-46 told me of being stationed as a 'barrier' to discourage British & French actions, but the Hunters just sailed over way above the Cougars' operational ceiling.

This sounds like a good GB to join, so I'm up for it.

Just a though, any subject, does that include ground, sea and air?

My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

I'd be interested! 37 squadron Shackleton with stripes is tempting.

Okay, just to recap interest, we had expressions of interest from the following:
lancfan
dwaomby
Gregers
PaulBradley
Kitaholic
Stvehnz
MarkyM607
jssel
Splash
Purplethistle
planecrazman61MDT
Oh, and me!

I propose that the GB runs from 5th November to the 4th December, (a total of 4 weeks and 1 day, but 5 weekends) as 5th November will be the 60th anniversary of the involvement of Britain and France (Israel and Egypt having started without us a few days earlier). If these dates are not popular, we will have a poll to decide by majority choice.

If those interested would confirm;
a) Their intent to be involved in this GB, and
b) if they are happy with the proposed dates or would like to hold a poll to decide dates

Depending on the outcome I will ask for the GB to be added to the calender or put a poll up

Cheers

Jim
